食べログ検索で何となくチョイス…たどり着くと懐かしい光景。
30年前はまだ学生でしたが、週末になれば車で本郷通7丁目のワンルームＭＳに転がり込んで、界隈で飲んでました。村さ来、ジャンボ焼き鳥、〆は火事で無くなった大ちゃんラーメン…懐かしいな。そんな中、まだ新しかったこの誠寿司は当時高貴な印象で「大人になったら来よう！」とスルーしていたものです。ちなみに当時の行灯は赤紫系だったと記憶。
店内の雰囲気は昭和平成初期の大箱寿司屋、今となっては割と落ち着く雰囲気です。ランチメニューを見渡すと随分と頑張っている印象… 安いです。これは人気が出るでしょうね。マーケティング上、コスパは集客数に比例します。
■すし天セットＡ 1,150円
花番さんもアットホームでドタバタ、板前はもう老人で少しくたびれた印象ですが皆さん頑張っている印象です。但し提供まで20分以上かかりました…厨房で裏方仕事を手伝っていた大将が私服姿で茶碗蒸しを配膳、忙しそう。
握りはＴＨＥ昭和な雰囲気で少しラフ、ネタの鮮度は及第点でマグロは良い。シャリは適正に酢が効いています。天ぷらは水分低めの衣でサックリ、たねは少し貧弱。茶碗蒸しは出汁が効いており少し甘め。鮭の吸い物も本格手作り。
何処か時代遅れな感じは否めないものの、価格を考えれば十分なノスタルジック寿司セット。近郊の方なら重宝しそう。
客層は30年前に現役バリバリだった年代… 70代の常連で賑わってます。そんな中90歳と思われる上品な着物姿の老婆が日本酒片手に握りを摘まんでいる光景はカッコよかったな。いつまでも美味しく飲めて食べられる事は素晴らしい。
