A luxurious but reasonably priced Japanese-style meal lunch at Shin-Takashima Station.
A Japanese-style meal restaurant located close to JR Yokohama Station or Minato Mirai Line, Shin-Takashima Station. This is a popular restaurant that offers reasonably priced set menus even on Sundays. There were several customers with reservations when the store opened at 11:30. I entered my name and was able to enter within minutes. The store is spacious and has partitions to accommodate groups of customers. I ordered a menu that included tempura, sashimi, chawanmushi beef Steak, and crab miso soup, and the price was about 1,650 yen. tax included. Sashimi is lean tuna or yellowtail? kana. All of them are fresh and plump. The chawan mushi is also delicious with the soup stock. I also grilled the beef Steak on a simple stove to make it rarer, but it was tender. Tempura also tastes pretty good. Watari crab has a nice flavor with a slight crab soup. I was quite satisfied with the lunch menu.

This is my second visit. I tried it as Katsu-don (Pork cutlet bowl) set. It's a great value at 1,000 yen, served with blue crab miso soup in a bamboo steamer. The taste of Katsu-don (Pork cutlet bowl) is not good. Is it for commercial use? Is not it. The batter on the bonito was so crunchy that it had a bad texture. Also, the eggs were overcooked and hard. The eggs are still soft-boiled or soft-boiled. Both the soba and the soba soup are not good. Soba noodles are somewhat curly. It's no different from store-bought soba. The soba soup has no richness at all. It was cheap, but the taste was good.
