I happened to drop by the restaurant in Kamakura, but unfortunately it was fully booked and I couldn't get in. However, the way they declined my request was very polite. This caught my attention, so I returned later. This is just my personal opinion, but the customer service was excellent. The interior has a retro feel that makes you feel like you can dine in a relaxed atmosphere. As for the food, I get the impression that most of the dishes were simple, making the most of the ingredients. As other reviewers have said, the bonito had no unpleasant odor and was delicious.
