Chef Yamamoto trained in Marseille in the south of France and mastered seafood cuisine. After that, he continued to study at "Ginza Lecan" and opened a store here in Kamakura in 2019. I came here for lunch in January. I thought it was a counter, but there was a table in the back. For lunch, I chose the cheapest course with 7 dishes at 8,250 yen. However, it was still too much for us. The course setting was so rich in content. ★Long onions/black pepper/apricots/almonds This was a mini eclair ★Turnip/red shrimp/lime Turnip blancmange, turnip sauce, red shrimp tartar A little rich ★Lentils It was somewhere between a soup called Brute and puree. It was piping hot and delicious, but the texture was similar to the previous dish. ★Sanriku scallops/white kidney beans Seafood is carefully selected and ordered from all over Japan, not just local. The garnish is a hanpen-like quenelle ★20-day aged soleme/soba noodles from Shimane Prefecture One of the themes the chef is focusing on is the aging of the fish. It has a strong flavor and is full of umami. ★Akadori Satsuma Ballotine from Kagoshima Prefecture A meat-wrapped dish. However, I prefer the surface to be a little more crispy. ★Cacao/Apricot/Kumquat The desserts are also beautiful plates and are of a very high standard. The apricot Gelato was my favorite flavor. ★Tea sweets This is another tartlet made without any shortcuts. All of the dishes were as wonderful as rumored, and were highly rated by Gault & Millau, as well as being selected as one of the 100 French cuisine Restaurants. There was only one thing. However, I was disappointed that the chef was busy, so I only caught a glimpse of him at the end and couldn't talk to him. It seemed like a casual French cuisine restaurant in the city.
