鎌倉駅から徒歩5分ほどの場所にオープンした「鎌倉 五鉄」にお邪魔してきました。キャラウェイの路地といえばわかりやすいでしょうか。小町通りの中でも割と八幡さま寄りになるため、参拝前後にも利用しやすい立地です。
こちらは鎌倉食材や新鮮魚貝類を使用した拘りの海鮮丼が楽しめるお店で、沼津や小田原にも支店があるそうですよ。店内は壁側がガラス張りなので明るく席間隔もゆったり。小町の喧騒を忘れさせる空間が広がっていました。
海鮮丼がメインですがアジフライや天ぷらなどの一品料理もちらほら。先ずはビールとおつまみ、なんていう使い方もできそうです。海鮮丼は一鉄から五鉄、ほかにも鉄火丼や湘南らしいしらす丼など。私は少し悩んで四鉄（3278円）をチョイスしてみました。
四鉄は本日の鮮魚（鮪、鰤、鯛など）に帆立、雲丹、海老、いくらといった贅沢極まりない豪華丼！海鮮の量も看板に偽りなしのボリュームですが「今日のいくらは味は良いのですが小粒なためサービスです」とまさかの追いいくらが！
先ずは卓上の特製醤油にわさびを溶き、丼にまわしかけて楽しみます。半分まで食べ進んだらお茶漬けのお供と秘伝のお出汁を掛け、まご茶漬けに。一度で二度美味しい海鮮ひつまぶし。お供の鰺味噌にガリ昆布も丁度良い塩梅でぺろりと完食です。
周囲になんちゃって海鮮丼のあふれる中、割と貴重な１軒ではないでしょうか。
