Since I had Yakiniku (Grilled meat) yesterday, I was in the mood for some light Japanese Japanese-style meal today, so I visited Chigasaki Umifune Shonandai branch. First, check out today's recommendations. Then, after gulping down a gulp of Namachu Cheers (Kirin Ichiban Shibori), I tried my hand at escorting him. Takowasa...I wonder what it is. Bracken ohitashi? While drinking Namachu, choose a snack. I ordered a half size Kanagawa local vegetable platter and a 4 piece platter of today's fresh fish sashimi. In the meantime, my life ended. To go with the dishes we ordered, we decided on sake next. First, I ordered the Tedorigawa Daiginjo. Almost at the same time, the local vegetables arrived. Garnishes include miso and bagna cauda. Cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, pumpkin, and sunny lettuce are good, but what about yellow chopped vegetables? I wonder if it tastes like radish when I eat it. Eating vegetables while sipping on the Tedori River. Hmm, healthy? And then the 4 pieces of sashimi arrived...4 points? Water octopus, whitebait, tuna, bonito, salmon, amberjack, yellowtail...7 points. Since Tedorikawa was free for the time being, I ordered Junmai from Haneya next. While picking at the sashimi, I took a sip. I moved forward with my chopsticks and sake cup, feeling glad that I was Japanese. It turned out nice, so I chose something a little richer. I discovered Tochio's fried tofu grilled with cheese and immediately ordered it. The dish I came up with is skillet, which is a recent (though a little old) trend. Tochio fried tofu is topped with Shonan's famous kettle-fried whitebait and green onions, topped with cheese and grilled. Can be used at BBQ. The sake to go with it is Tateyama's special pure rice. After drinking three glasses of beer and sake, I felt pretty good, so I ordered a plate of soba noodles (for two). As expected, the portion was too large for two people or for one person, but I was very satisfied. Lastly, I'll post additional menu items that I was interested in this time, but unfortunately couldn't order because I was too hungry. Next time I look forward to.

I've been wanting to go out drinking for a few days now...and for some reason I've started to want to taste and compare sake from Kanagawa breweries...I popped into Umifune Shonandai branch as a place to drink on the way home from work.First of all, Sashimi 4 I ordered a platter and had Hakoneyama with the side dish of mame mackerel nanbanzuke. Enjoy delicious appetizers in just the right amount and choose the sake to match each dish. I think this is the real pleasure of drinking outside. When the 4 pieces of sashimi arrived, I ordered the next drink. The sashimi... that... 6 pieces... Apparently the manager served it for me. thank you. The alcohol to go with it is Matsu Midori. Dry sake with just the right amount of flavor goes perfectly with sashimi. To take a break from chopsticks, we had firefly squid pickled in the middle of nowhere and chilled tofu made with raw seaweed. The sake to go with it was Takashi's Junmai Ginjo, a refreshing dry sake with a beautiful aroma and strong flavor. It goes well with the aroma of the ocean and the strong flavor of sake. The last tempura was today's recommended cod and bamboo shoots. Tempura with boiled radish is my favorite. Since I don't make it myself because it takes a lot of time, I end up ordering it when I see it on the menu at any store. Enjoy tempura with Oita Waka Peony and be completely satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
