仕事仲間２人との飲み会。
お邪魔したのは「すし処 勘九郎」さん。場所は、JR川崎駅東口を出て、仲見世通りを東に進み、旧東海道との交差点角にあるビルの１階です。
予約して行ったこともあり、入口すぐの個室に案内されました。まずは生ビールで乾杯し、メニューを眺めます。グランドメニューは当然「すし」がメインですが、それ以外にも、季節のおすすめ賀豊富です。まずは以下をお願いしました。
♦︎刺身盛り合わせ
♦︎銀杏
刺身は、鮪赤身・カンパチ・生蛸・金目鯛・サーモン。悪くはありませんが、そんなに大きな特徴はないかも。銀杏は美味しかったです。
すぐに生ビールを飲み干して、次は日本酒です。メニューには、獺祭のスパークリングをはじめ、様々な銘柄が並んでいます。中から「田酒 純米」「黒龍 純米吟醸」「紀土 純米大吟醸」をお願いしました。

このシーズンらしい「鱧天麩羅」と「土瓶蒸し」は、やはり間違いありません。関東で鱧があるのは珍しいのですが、なかなか肉厚ないい鱧を使っていました。

後半は、握り寿司です。「すし処」なのですから、当たり前の話ですが、寿司が一番レベルが高いですね。「特上握り」は、ネタはいいものの、一般的なラインナップですが、それ以外に個別で注文したものは、どれもこのお店の真骨頂が出ている感じです。「カワハギ握り」は淡白な中にも旨味が濃く、更に肝を添えてあるので、その美味しさが倍増。「のどぐろ炙り握り」も、肉厚ののどぐろが使われており、特有の脂っこさを上手に処理されていたので、こちらも美味しかったです。
結論的には、カウンターで飲みながら、軽く肴を食べてから好みの寿司を握ってもらうのが、このお店のベストな使い方なのではないでしょうか。まあ、寿司屋さんなのですから、至極当たり前の結論ですね。
お勘定は３人で40,000円程度です。
