近所に用事があったので、比較的高評価のこちらの店を訪問しました。
夜の１９時過ぎ、道路に面したところにありますが、地形上階段を下りていきます。
入店すると目の前にはＬ字カウンター、左手にはテーブル席、その奥は小上りがあります。
多少圧迫感を感じるのは天井が低いからでしょうか。
先客はカウンターに２名、小上りは２卓うまっています。
別にカウンターでもよかったのですが、小上りに通され、ドリンクを訊かれます。
生ビールは苦手な一番搾りでしたので瓶ビールを選択。
アサヒとキリンから選べますがキリンを選択。
さらに、クラシックラガーか秋味かと言われ秋味をお願いします。
お通しは厚焼き玉子２切れに大根おろしが添えられています。
肴はおすすめメニューから、特上霜降り馬刺しと海鮮揚げ出し煮、焼きナスをオーダーしました。
提供時間は１０分弱ですね。
３人の板前さんとお客さんの数を考えてもちょっと長めです。
まず、馬刺しが提供されますが、霜降りというよりは赤身に近いです。
サシがほとんどありません、また非常に薄く切っているようで、かまぼこのようにソリが目立ちます。
案の定、薄切りですので、２切れ同時に食べないと馬刺しの食感は味わいにくいです。
海鮮揚げ出し煮は馬刺しを食べ終わるころ提供されました。
あいなめ、ブリ、タコ、イカをミゾレ風に煮込んだ一品です。
熱すぎず冷めすぎず、お酒がすすみます。
ほぼ同時に焼きナスが提供されます。
小さめのナスですが美味しいです。
その後もマグロの中トロと霜降り牛の炙り寿司を注文します。
マグロは冷凍のメバチマグロでした。
霜降り牛の炙り寿司はほんのり炙っていますので噛みしめると甘いです。
少々辛口な評価になりましたが、このお店で本当に美味しいのは醤油です。
ここの醤油は、他店とは一味違います。
それぞれの肴の欠点をうまくカバーしてるので本当に美味しく思えます。
もちろん素材そのものも悪くはないので高評価なのもうなずけます。
お酒は、普通の居酒屋メニューにくわえ、日本酒、焼酎に力を入れてるのがわかります。
特に日本酒は２０種類以上ありますので日本酒好きな方には嬉しいかなと。
一方で、ウイスキーはサントリーの角瓶一種類だけですので、物足りなさを感じます。
お店は２０代から６０代以上まで幅広く利用しているようです。
週末は混むとのことなので早めの予約が必要だそうです。
