Wow! Definitely Kajigaya No. 1!
It's been a while since I last visited the famous Kajigaya restaurant "Uuwa". The food served here is so high quality that it's almost rude to call it Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). Perhaps "taishu kappo" is the right word to use. The order for the day was as follows: Dalmaika sashimi Horse mackerel sashimi Fried raw octopus Ginger-grilled Sangen pork Oyster tempura Grilled rice ball Tempura dashi miso Onigiri Kariho Yamahai Junmai Ichihaku Mizunari Tokubetsu Junmai Tennoto As always, there was no disappointment, and everything was delicious, but what impressed me was the grilled Onigiri I ordered for the first time. I thought that miso was usually only spread on the surface, but this one was kneaded into Onigiri along with the bonito flakes. A dish that is elaborately made is bound to be delicious. I enjoyed some delicious sake and snacks. Thank you for the meal.

It's delicious as expected. Kajigaya is a local station on the Denentoshi Line. There aren't many restaurants at this local station, and few that I would like to visit regularly, but this Hafuwa is a place I would like to go to every week. The menu features dishes that go well with sake, more than Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) but less than a traditional restaurant, and the place is bustling even on weekday nights with Kajigaya's bar refugees. On this day, I had raw Oyster, live white clam sashimi, tempura sashimi, fried Tempura, the usual shishamo, and chawanmushi. I sipped various types of dry Nihonbashi sake. I enjoyed delicious sake again that day. Thank you for the meal.

Kajigaya Station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line. There is a terminal station called Mizonokuchi near the city center, and this station is mainly residential, with only the "Tokyu Store" in front of the station, and no shopping or drinking districts. Among the few restaurants, "Hafuwa" is a particularly lively restaurant with locals. The fish and Meat Dishes prepared by three chefs are of a quality that exceeds that of Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). The atmosphere is not as high-class as a traditional Japanese restaurant, and is very comfortable. The restaurant seats 50 people, but the staff and chefs work well together and the food and sake we ordered are brought out at the right time. On this day, we had bonito sashimi, raw Oyster from Konbumori, shrimp Tempura, eggplant and asparagus Tempura, chawanmushi, and shishamo with roe. We started with bottled beer, followed by Suigei, Taisho no Tsuru, Tagaji, Itto-Ryodan, and Kariho. It's been a while since I've enjoyed the delicious food and sake at Hafuwa. It was a feast.
ううわっ!梶ケ谷にこんなに良い店があるとは。
東急梶が谷駅から徒歩5分ほど。コジマ✕ビックカメラのはす向かいの半地下にある「酒菜 羽々和」。門構えからは想像できなかった広い店内。三人の板前さんと女将さん(?)カウンター、テーブル、座敷合わせて60席に対応している。金曜日の夕刻とあってこの人気店は忙しい。あとから来た客は予約がないと今日は入れないと…帰らされていた。金夜はやっぱり予約すべきだな。
カウンターに通され先ずオーダーしたのはビールに「刺身盛り合わせ」。事前に「魚が美味い!」と聞いてきただけに期待が高まる。カウンター前のガラスケースには様々な魚介類が並ぶ。出てきた刺し盛りは豪華。中トロはいい感じで熟成されていてアミノ酸の旨味が堪らない。シメサバも良い仕事がされていて口に入れた瞬間にとろけて鯖の旨味が口一杯に広がる。他にも鯛に勘八、金目鯛、蛸に甘海老と豪華に並ぶ。「仕入れの良さ」と「包丁さばき」がここの魚料理の人気の秘訣なのであろう。これ以外にも、この時期でこんなにジューシー?と思わせる「牡蠣の天ぷら」、しっとりレアに揚げられた「ササミの天ぷら」、今が旬高級魚の「ギンポの天ぷら」、最後に「茶碗蒸し」で締める。お酒も豊富で日本酒で「福小町」、「雁木」、「日高見」焼酎ロックで「伊佐美」、「魔王」を二人で頂きいい感じに仕上がりました。板さんも女将さんもすごく感じがよくフレンドリー。いやー良い店発見。リピート間違いなし。美味しく頂きました。ご馳走さまでした。

Mizonokuchi Station is a representative terminal station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line. Just one stop away, Kajigaya Station is located in a secluded location in a quiet residential area. This residential area has few restaurants, but it's interesting because it has some famous restaurants that will impress even the most discerning drinkers. This Hahawa is a popular Japanese restaurant where three chefs prepare fresh ingredients from the mountains and sea with expert skill. Tempura, tempura, deep-fried foods, and Fried food dishes. All are of high quality. All are excellent dishes that go well with sake. I enjoyed the food again that day. Thank you for the meal.
