到着したホテルの前にあったので昼食に、と期待せずに入ってみた。
広い個室にテーブルがあり、靴を脱いで上がる。窓からは川が見えるが、それほど良い景色というわけでもない。
注文したのはいかにも観光客向けといった龍馬御膳だ。カツオのたたきは店員さんの勧めに従って塩たたきで味わう。
たっぷりの玉ねぎのスライスと刻んだ青じそ、スライスにんにくを載せて口いっぱいに頬張ると、これが美味しい！！
おそらく炭火で焼かれた分厚く切られたたたきは外側がカリッと香ばしく中は柔らか。
適当に選んだ料理屋レベルでもこんなたたきが食べられるのか！と感動。
家の近所のスーパーで買ったカツオのたたきとはやっぱり違う。
塩で味わった後はポン酢で食べてみたが、やっぱり塩で味わうのが美味しい。
高知滞在中は毎食カツオのたたきを食してみたが、一番美味しいと思ったのはここの店だった。
初めて食べた本場のたたきの感動も確かにあるのだろうが、たっぷりの玉ねぎのスライスと青じそにネギ、
スライスのニンニクを添えてくれていたからだと思う。他の店は玉ねぎが少なかったり、青じそがなかったりで、
美味いのは美味いのだが、なんだか物足りないのだ。
龍馬御膳の他のメニューだが、手長エビやうつぼの唐揚げ、あおさのりの天ぷらは少量で味見レベルではあるが
美味しい。のれそれは個人的にあまり美味いとは思えなかった。もうちょっと冷えてたら美味しく感じたかもしれない。
うつぼの稚魚なのだが、形はまんまうつぼなので、ちょっと受け付けにくかったか。
他の煮物、野菜ジュース、汁物はいまいち。次行くときはカツオのたたきのセットでいい！
