Our restaurant is particular about the food we give our eels, and we raise them in an environment as close to the natural environment as possible. "Tosa Igosso" eels are raised on a diet of wild blue fish. "Chikushin Unagi" eels are raised on a diet of plenty of mantis shrimp, just like the blue eels of Okayama, known as the mythical wild eel, which love to eat mantis shrimp. And the ultimate "Tenku Unagi" eels are raised on a diet of both wild blue fish and mantis shrimp. We are the only specialty restaurant where you can taste these three types of brand eels.

We serve three top-brand varieties of eel, handled by first-class Japanese-style meal chefs who have undergone rigorous training in Gion, Kyoto. To bring out the flavor, aroma, and texture of the ingredients, we fillet, skewer, and lightly grill the eels in-store, before slowly and carefully grilling them over binchotan charcoal. Thanks to the time-consuming cooking and skills our chefs have developed over years of study, we offer you a delicious, superior dish. All our chefs look forward to your visit.

We want to serve you something truly delicious. To make that wish come true, we carefully select ingredients from long-established Kyoto stores. We use a special blend of rice from "Yadaime Gibei," which is recognized by many gourmets, and Kyoto pickles sourced from "Nishiki Market," Kyoto's kitchen, where unique food culture and rare ingredients come together. We also use other first-class products, such as "Ippodo" roasted green tea made with a house blend, and "Ran-oh" eggs, characterized by their rich flavor and bright orange yolks.
