看板は朝〆のスッポンまる鍋一本勝負
コークス1600度の超火力で炊き上げられるまる鍋は
グッツグツと鍋の中でスッポンが踊る♫
生姜の爽やかで鮮烈な香り。
スッポンのニュルリと艶やかで官能的な食感、
滋味深い味わい。
特筆すべきは玉子雑炊。
お米の一粒一粒に旨味が染み込んでる。
付け合せの千枚漬けの甘酸っぱさ、
口の中がキリリと引き締まり、
2杯目の雑炊を一気に平らげる。
女将のおもてなしが温かい。
この日たまたまいたという若さんは、
興味があると言ったら、わざわざ奥から生きたままの
スッポンを持ってきてくれた。
スッポンは夏と冬とで味が変わるという。
濃厚な脂のりを味わうなら、やはり冬が良いという。
二人して帰りを見送ってくれた。
角を曲がるとき振り向くと、女将はまだこちらを見ていた。
「またここのスッポンを食べれるように頑張ろう」
