In addition to kaiseki cuisine, the restaurant offers a wide variety of a la carte dishes, mainly using ingredients essential to Kyoto cuisine such as Kyoto vegetables, raw gluten, yuba, and Wakasa Guji (tilefish), as well as seafood delivered directly from the Sea of Japan. While making the most of the natural flavors of the ingredients, the restaurant uses flavorful broth and sometimes adds seasonal aromas such as kinome (leaf buds), making these dishes that will make you think, "This is the taste of Kyoto!"
