This time we had a dinner party at this restaurant where the lunch was delicious. There is a tatami room on the second floor, and we had a hot pot party there. That's good. The sashimi was always delicious. The pot is also luxurious. Is it a hot pot? Duck, chicken, beef, and lots of vegetables. The soup stock was also delicious as expected. Surprisingly, the fried tofu was really delicious. There is such delicious fried tofu. And it clicked. Which store is it from? There are many restaurants in Kyoto that serve delicious tofu. Koryuji Temple, where the Bodhisattva Maitreya resides...it's a typical Kyoto place. It has a great atmosphere. This area feels like a residential area, or rather, there was probably nothing there when the movie studio (Movie Village) was built. Or rather, because there was nothing, filming studios were created: Toei, Shochiku, and Daiei. I feel the history. When I was thinking about where to have lunch, I was brought to this restaurant. Last time I came, I had lunch at a chain Ramen restaurant, so I was disappointed. Even though I came all the way to Kyoto, this store is a little hard to find. A narrow alley...I wonder if I would come here again by myself...A wonderful Japanese-style entrance. I was surprised when I saw the lunch price, which seemed expensive. 800 yen? really? As you walk down the hallway, you will find a large counter seat and a Japanese-style room. The counter was full of ladies, so I went to a Japanese-style room with a sunken kotatsu table. There seems to be only one type of lunch. The lunch that was brought to us had many items and was somehow elegant. My wife definitely likes it. Are the people in the neighborhood coming, or are they tourists? The two wives who shared the table with me seemed to be locals and regulars. The food was delicious. It came with Small dish of sashimi, which was delicious. The sashimi that comes with lunch is not something you can expect. It says it's a kappo restaurant, so you can expect a lot from it at night. What's the price? Judging from the atmosphere inside, it doesn't seem like it's a cheap restaurant...but the lunch is exceptional. 800 yen is too high for this content. If you have a chance, this is a restaurant you should definitely come to at night.
