Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1971. Having suffered from food allergies as a child, he became interested in food. After graduating from high school, he entered Tsuji Culinary Institute. After graduation, he honed his skills at renowned restaurants such as "Kyoto Kitcho" and "Hana Kitcho" for a long period of 13 years. Wanting to "cook face-to-face with customers," he opened "Oryori Akiyama" in 2006. His delicate dishes, which show his respect for the ingredients, never fail to move the hearts of those who visit.
