2024.01.20 Shizuoka, Yaizu, Yamazaki bullet trip ⑧ After the free tour of the whiskey hall of "Suntory Yamazaki Distillery", we enjoyed whiskey tasting and got some souvenirs, and on the way back we headed 800m to Hankyu Oyamazaki Station to take advantage of the Hankyu Kyoto match. I walked~♪ It was 12:30pm, so I went to Chugoku Shunsai Ajisai for lunch in front of the station. We chose from the four lunch menus: ◆Lunch set Cantonese-style mapo tofu 1,375 yen Comes with soup, salad, and rice My friend chose "sweet and sour chestnut pork" and took a seat at a table for four and waited. In a little over 10 minutes, the set was brought out on a wooden tray and I enjoyed it (^o^)/ It's a simple white bowl, but it looks good, and the mapo tofu has a nice aroma. When I make it myself, I use Sichuan-style spicy sauce with lots of Chinese pepper and chili oil, but this one had a mellow, deep flavor that brought out the aroma and umami of Cantonese-style rich oyster sauce. As I continued to eat it, I felt a tingling sensation and it was delicious! The pork was pounded and cut into small pieces instead of minced meat, so the texture was interesting. I finished the soup and vegetable salad, and my stomach had just the right amount of food, so I was very satisfied. Across the street from the store is Hankyu Oyamazaki Station, and I found a bakery under the overpass, so I decided to get some bread for tomorrow morning before heading home. Gochisousan (●^o^●)
