4月中旬火曜日に13時45分到着、先着1名。13時55分に中から鍵を開ける音がすると先着の方が入店するので一緒に入る。自分は初めてなのでカウンターの末席に。ただ、末席辺りは調理場から料理の出てくる窓の前で店主さん、お店の女性と話しが出来るし、注文しやすい。1人ならTVも見やすく良い席だ。傍のお店の電話が鳴ってもあまり出ない。2時間の滞在中出たのは2回だけ。たまに電話に出る店主さんを笑って見てると、全部出てると予約で埋まって、折角来てくれるお客さんが入れなくなる。難しいのだとのこと。そういうことか。
湯どうふ、イワシ酢、ふくだめ＝トコブシ煮、牛すじ味噌煮を頂きつつ、他のお客さんと話しをして、2時間で退店。勘定の際に店主さんが大きな算盤を持ってきて、パチパチ2、3回玉を弾くと、2,900円とのこと。計算したフリをわざわざするので笑ってしまう。このお値段は店主さんの心意気なのだろう。帰り際に面白かったと言うと、それが一番、嬉しいとのこと。とても良いお店だ。次回の伊勢参拝でも必ず来たい。
