On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, Wine Shop Sainai YUNIWA will open on the first floor of Ise Utsukushikuni Brewery. Here, you can purchase not only original wines made at the attached winery, Ise Utsukushikuni Brewery, but also homemade hors d'oeuvres supervised by an in-house sommelier that are designed to go well with wine. Various tastings (for a fee) are also available in the store. We hope you will use our wines, made in the foothills of the Geku Shrine of Ise, the god of food, as souvenirs from your trip to Ise, as gifts, or as wine to enjoy in your daily life. At our restaurant, we offer heifer Kuroge Wagyu beef that has been carefully fattened by contracted farmers and carefully selected by experienced connoisseurs by "Butasute," a long-established butcher in Ise that was founded in the Meiji era. In a specially ordered furnace, the chef slowly and carefully removes the excess fat to bring out the original flavor of the meat. Grilled Steak that you can feel. Born in Hyogo Prefecture. From 2008, he spent 10 years working at a famous French cuisine restaurant in Kobe with 1 Michelin star, 7 years at Restaurants Orpheus and 3 years at Spontenius. After that, he trained for half a year at Astrance in Paris, worked as a sous chef at Kenzo Estate, and then joined Kitashinchi Fukutatei to study under Chef Ukai. In 2022, he was appointed as the chef of our restaurant. Every day, we put our full effort into providing our customers with the best oven-grilled Steak.

After 10 years at Peninsula Tokyo (Chief Sommelier) and 5 years at Aman Resorts "Amanem" (Food and Beverage Manager), he became the manager of our restaurant. We provide our customers with a comfortable time with our casual customer service and smart service. Currently, as the Mie branch manager of the Japan Sommelier Association, he is greatly contributing to the development of the local wine industry.
