It's been a while since I went to a chain Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) like this with my juniors. I ordered a lot of things, but the only ones that were delicious were the omelette and the final dessert, vanilla ice cream. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) may be described as ``firm,'' but in reality it's ``hard.'' Skirt Steak is also hard, perhaps because it's meant to train your teeth? The accompanying corn was delicious. Meanwhile, the juniors were drinking a lot. The saving grace is that the store is nice and clean.
