踏切近くの「ますます」さんの紹介で日本酒が充実しているこちらの店へ。白木の広いカウンターで、遮るものなくマスターと酒話を。ますますさんの話と同じくこちらも新潟の酒は少ないが、それでもせっかくなので注文。そして穴子揚げ！日本酒に絶妙に合う。また浸かっている「たれ」が美味い。マスターとお姉さんと新潟の生活話で静かに盛り上がる。2件目ではあるが、この肴と雰囲気でこの価格なら長居は必至。高級料亭のおもてなしで長岡の夜はふける。
