3年ぶり訪問。
オヤジさんの姿は無く、料理人は随分と若かった。
女将さんに代替わりしたのか訊ねると、そうだと言う。話を深掘りするのをやめて、食事と酒を楽しむ事にした。
厚焼き玉子、手羽の唐揚げ、鮎の塩焼き、クジラのベーコン、塩トマト、キュウリスティック自家製味噌付き等、、、どれも美味しく頂けた。
アルコールはまずは生ビールそれから日本酒・・越後湯沢の地元の酒--上善如水を飲んだ。
30年前から時々訪れていた越後湯沢も、これからは訪れる事も無くなるだろう。
