Along the prefectural road from Matamabashi to Ueda intersection. There is a "Warai Soba" on the road where road expansion work is not progressing no matter how much time passes. It may be easier to understand if you think of it as the building where the election office of a certain conservative politician is located. It was an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) before, and it is unclear whether it is still the same Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but the popular soba restaurant "Warai Soba", which used to be a golf range opposite Tomigusuku City Hall, has moved there. So, it is an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) at night and an Okinawa Soba restaurant during the day. There is a sign that PayPay can be used, but I was told that it cannot be used at Sobaya Time, so the management structure of the restaurant itself may be different. At Sobaya Time, there is a ticket vending machine, so you can purchase tickets from the ticket vending machine. The inside of the store is quite spacious, but there are many partitions and it is dimly lit, so it feels terribly narrow. We sat at a table for four, which was just right for two adults (^_^;) Anyway, nobuta chose the Yushi tofu soba with sanmainiku topping for 680 yen (550 yen without sanmainiku), and my eldest son chose the sanmainiku soba for 700 yen + extra noodles for 100 yen. The prices are reasonable! And the taste. First, my eldest son's opinion...look at the sanmainiku soba in the photo. It has a seasoned egg, which is unusual for Okinawa Soba. My eldest son, who is picky about seasoned eggs even in Ramen, groaned, "This seasoned egg is thick and delicious!" As soon as he ate the seasoned egg, he asked if he could add it as a topping, so it must have been very delicious (lol). Unfortunately, they said they didn't offer a seasoned egg topping (^_^;) The noodles are made by Terukina Seimen in Kainan. They are characterized by their curly noodles. They come with four slices of sanmainiku and kamaboko. My eldest son complained that the soup stock had no flavor, but the soup stock at this restaurant is supposed to be a blend of chicken bones, bonito, and pork bones. I guess that means it's light. Anyway, the first photo is the yushi tofu soba that nobuta ordered. I would have preferred it if the yushi tofu had been cut into larger pieces. It was too fine, so the amount felt small, and they didn't make it into yushi tofu (I guess it's a matter of preference)... I wouldn't say that the soup stock was tasteless like my eldest son's, but it was light and simple. The sanmai pork is not my favorite type, so I have no opinion. Looking at the soba menu on the table, I saw that there was curry Okinawa Soba, which is only available on Thursdays, so I would like to try that. In any case, it's different from the typical Okinawa Soba restaurant, so it's a bit of a downside that it feels oppressive. Thank you for the meal!
