A cafe and Restaurants with a panoramic view of the ocean on Kouri Island
Just opened in April 2010! The menu of YOSHIKA was introduced on "Hanamaru Market" and highly praised by Ya-kun. You can stay at the attached guest house for 2000 yen (separate for men and women)! We |
I have been to Kouri Island many times, but this was my first visit to YOSHIKA. It is a beach house with a Tom Sawyer's Adventure-esque exterior, and the second floor is an observation cafe Restaurants. You can see the Kouri Bridge and the blue sea, and it has a good atmosphere! It would be great if I wasn't working... Since I was on Kouri Island, I thought I would try the local specialty sea urchin bowl, but I ordered the signature menu that is sure to be a hit, YOSHIKA's Seafood Bowl for 2,200 yen! Bluefin tuna red meat (from Misaki) Yellowfin tuna sukiyaki (from Misaki) Salmon (from?) Sea urchin (Kouri Island specialty) Sea grapes (local Yagaji Island specialty) Baby scallops (from?) Yes, there is no doubt about it, it's delicious!! Sea urchin from Kouri Island is whiter and sweeter than that from Honshu! Next time I'll definitely have the "sea urchin bowl"! It was a slightly luxurious lunch on Kouri Island. It was a feast!
