It was almost 9pm when we returned to the hotel after the concert. We thought we would have a light meal in the hotel, but the Restaurants, which serves light meals such as pasta, was already closed. There was only one main dining area, and we thought we would have a little a la carte, but it seemed to be All-you-can-eat buffet at night. Since breakfast was also All-you-can-eat buffet style in the same place, we searched around and found Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) at the back of the hotel. Even on Sundays, last order was at 11:30pm, which was a blessing. When we went there, it was a fairly large restaurant, and it was 80% full. We were shown to a table with a sunken kotatsu. The young lady who seemed to be a part-time worker was cute. They said they were proud of their fresh fish, and at the entrance there was a menu of fish that I had never seen before, which is unique to Okinawa, but it was late, so unfortunately they had sold out. So we ordered a Seafood salad, thinking that it would have some fish in it. We ordered [b: Seafood Salad] (small) 640 yen. It had lots of sea grapes on top! There was also white fish and salmon. We ate it with plum dressing. For the drink, we had Sanpin tea, which is unique to Okinawa. [b: Grilled squid] 600 yen Comes with tentacles and mayonnaise. There are various Okinawan Cuisine [b: Fu Chanpuru] 580 yen I knew about bitter melon and tofu, but I wonder if fu means wheat gluten? I asked and was told it was, so I ordered it. It uses wheel-shaped wheat gluten. I've always liked wheat gluten, so I prefer this to tofu champuru. Since I had a big lunch, I finished off with [b: Salmon Chazuke]. This was my first time eating at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Okinawa. Fu Chanpuru was a new discovery for me. Thank you for the meal.
