沖縄は経済格差がはっきりとしているので良いものを出す店はほぼ那覇に集中しています。
そのような中、この店の存在は際立っています。
見た目、普通の居酒屋です。
確かに沖縄のスタンダードな居酒屋メニューがならんでいますが、扱っている魚の素材が素晴らしい。
ここ以上の品物をそろえている店は沖縄ではそうはありません。
特に観光客の人にもお勧めできるのは、沖縄のうまいエビの代表であるセミエビ・ぞうりエビがコンスタントに入っているところ。
セミエビ・ゾウリエビでは伊勢海老よりも甘くとても美味しいんです。その証拠に沖縄でとれたものは銀座に流れていくみたいです。
沖縄県内、ここ以外でこのエビを食べれるところ僕は知りません。
後はタイミングが良ければオニダルマオコゼも食べることができます。
もちろん、時期になれば沖縄産ウニも食べることは可能です。
このようなレアな沖縄の食材を食べることができるうえ、ちゃんぷるーといった通常の居酒屋・定食メニューもレベル高いのがうれしいところ。
地元の人と近くの病院関係者の憩いの場なので週末は予約とらないときびいことが多く、平日でも満席であることもしばしば。
那覇からは車で空いてて30分ちょっとかかりますが、沖縄になんどもきて行く場所がなくなった人におススメです。ラグナガーデンから15～20分くらいです。
個人的にはもうちょっと日本酒の種類が増えると文句なしの店なんですが。
