雨降るかなと思いつつ、梅田に出てきて、ちょっと足を延ばそうと大江橋のたもとまで歩いていく。川を渡れば中之島だが、その手前で西に折れ、川沿いに何軒かある店を覗いていく。海鮮丼の店はずいぶん昔に訪ねたことがあるが、それ以外は未訪問。
ビーフカツ 1000円
というメニューが目に留まり、そのまま入店。
イタリアンのバールのようだが、ここは日本。昼は普通にランチ営業をしていて、本日のランチメニューが「ビーフカツ 粒マスタードソース」となっている。パンかライスが選べるのでライスでお願いする。
最初にスープが出てきて、啜っていたらメインとライスが運ばれてきた。粒マスタードソースはクリアタイプで、しっとりと全体にかかっているけれどそんなにというか全然辛くない。風味を楽しむという感じ。お肉はいい具合の柔らかさというか硬さ。ごはんとよく合う。
店内は大テーブルがセンターに据えられていて、その周りにコロナ下ということで２席に一人ずつ座るようになっているので、非常にゆったりしている。もちろん隣との間、向かいとの間は完全に仕切られていて、感染対策は万全である。
食べ終わるくらいで「あとふたつ」って声が聞こえてきた。とするうちに、また「ビーフ、ワン」とコールがあり、（あ、あと１食か）と思いながら店を後にした。（2022.5.16）
