Wandering around Kitahama in search of Saturday lunch. There were many shops that weren't open, but I went to this place, which had been advertised as famous for its mapo tofu. When I entered, it was about 50% full, but before I knew it, it was full. There seems to be a line on weekdays. I ordered the mapo tofu set meal and the daily set meal. The daily stir-fried shrimp and egg was fluffy, the shrimp was plump, and the seasoning was just right. It came with fried chicken and spring rolls, but I guess they weren't that good. I also had draft beer and was full. Next time I would like to try the sweet and sour pork or shrimp chili.
