Delicious to the eye and the tongue ♪ Playful tableware and creative a la carte dishes! We source ingredients with an awareness of high quality. 70% of the tableware on which the food is served is custom-made Shigaraki ware, with designs such as shape and color ordered with presentation in mind. We use different tableware depending on the dish being served, so that customers can enjoy the food as well as the food. Our most recommended menu item is the "Ryugu Tamatebako of Fresh Fish." It is a popular dish with all levels of customers. We hope you will enjoy a little bit of each of our various menu items!

Yasumasa Okuda, the fifth generation Yasubei kiln, is an artist who creates works with a unique and playful world view, making use of Shigaraki's high-quality pottery clay and combining modern sensibilities with the world of "wabi" and "sabi" where clay and flame are fired. Mr.'s work. I sympathized with his style, so I went to see him in Shigaraki and had him create and bake Uratenma Kobachiya's utensils. The vessels from the fifth-generation Yasubei kiln bring a variety of expressions to Kobachiya's cuisine. Please enjoy a slightly more adult space created by the ingredients, taste, presentation, and vessels.
