店主の人柄そのものの温かい雰囲気。味付けもやさしい感じで、次の料理が楽しみになる。
店主は広島県世羅の出身。生家が魚屋で、仕出しもやっていたことから自然とこの道に入り、以来三十余年。現在も料理に日々精進を重ねるも、合格点に達する日は少ないという。だが食通のみならず、同業の料理人が常に注目する店でもある。素材の持ち味を大切にしたいから、少々高くてもいいものをと、魚は中央卸売市場で長年信頼を置く店からの仕入れだ。野菜は味に輪郭がある有機もの中心。大切な人と行きたい、とっておきの店。
