It's about a month away, but it's my mother's birthday, so I came here to celebrate her birthday and enjoy Minoh's kawadoko cuisine. There are only two restaurant in Minoh where you can enjoy Kawadoko cuisine: Isoyoshi and Otowa Sanso Umeyashiki. I had eaten at Isoyoshi with my companion in the past, so this time I made a reservation at another restaurant, Otowa Sanso Umeyashiki. There are two reservation times: 12:00-13:30 and 13:30-15:00. We made two reservations and planned to walk to Minoh Falls first and then eat. I arrived at the store a little early, so I took a tour of the free rest area (although I wouldn't call it a rest area as there were no chairs inside). It was built during the Taisho era and is the only teahouse still in existence. Even if you go inside and take your time looking at the panels, you'll run out of things to do within 5 minutes (lol) The shop is built around this Umeyashiki, and the tatami room (although it's not tatami) is on the right side of the Umeyashiki. floor), and counter seats are located at the back. No matter where you sit, you can see the river flowing by. There were 3 of us so we were shown to a place to sit on the floor. It's a pretty nice atmosphere, and since the sun doesn't shine, it even feels chilly. I was asked what we wanted to drink, so my mother and the steering wheel keeper ordered non-alcoholic beer (500 yen), and my companion ordered Nose ginger (500 yen). While the conversation progresses, the staff quickly brings out the food. The food menu is as follows. - Dishes: Soaked Kintoki grass, Grilled silver salmon, Pumpkin castella, Dashi-wrapped egg, Saikyoyaki Tanba chicken, Boiled chestnuts with astringent skin brandy, Flower lotus root - Grilled dishes Boiled including flying dragon head, Boiled Japanese yam, Autumn leaves gluten, Silk Aoi ・Summary Yoro tofu with delicious dashi jelly, chrysanthemum soaked, ginkgo, salmon roe, spiked perilla ・Vinegar accompaniment Grilled salmon, swordfish lemon vinegar, bellows cucumber, soymilk konnyaku noodles, vinegared melon, yuzu vinegar jelly, ・Towards Comes with tuna, sea bream, squid, yuzu soy sauce ~ complete set of dishes ~ ・Small Seafood hotpot (salmon, shrimp, scallops, sea bream, shrimp dumplings, grilled conger eel, Chinese cabbage, mizuna, enoki, white onion, wetland, green tea soba) ・Meal chirimen Japanese pepper rice, three kinds of spices, water dishes, pear jelly, and seasonal fruits. Now, let's eat...hmm, each dish is so good that you can't go wrong. All of them are lightly flavored to bring out the ingredients, and the soup stock is perfect. It has an elegant taste as it is cooked with the seafood that was harvested from the seafood. The soup stock in the Seafood hotpot is especially delicious...I drank all the soup after eating it.The rice is served in two tiers, and on top are cucumbers and pickled vegetables. and pickled pumpkin, pickled pumpkin, and pickled shiba pickles. The rice is already topped with chirimen sansho, and the rice is perfectly cooked. They don't just sell the scenery, they are competing with their cooking. As expected from their real work. It is sometimes called Ryokan (Ryokan and a wedding ceremony are held across the street). Please note that the last time I went there to eat was last year (updated too late) and it cost 5,000 yen including tax. However, this year, the price has increased to 5,500 yen including tax. This may be due to the recent rise in the price of ingredients. However, considering the level of taste and the good atmosphere, I think you will still be satisfied. Kawadoko Ryori You can enjoy it until October 29th (Sunday), which is already less than a month ago. If you want to try it, hurry! Thank you very much.
