食べログでの評価がとても良いので興味を持っており、3週間ほど前に7350円のコースと席(カウンタ)を予約しました。
浦和駅東口を出て徒歩2～3分ほど。
駅の近くなのでもっと栄えたところにあるのかと思っていたのですが、少し寂しい場所にこちらのお店はあります。
店構えは普通の何の変哲も無いお店。暖簾も掛かっていません。食べログで評判を知らなかったら入ることは絶対にないでしょう。
席に着くとすぐに料理が始まります。
カウンタ越しに料理がお皿の上に置かれ、そのたびに丁寧に産地や食べ方を教えてもらえます。
色々な種類のおつまみと握り寿司を食べさせてもらったので、ひとつひとつ書くのはやめておきます。
まずおつまみ。
最初の蛸で衝撃を受けました。一見足を雑に切っただけのようでしたが、とても柔らかくつけ込まれていました。
生牡蠣は北海道の○○産の天然もの。余市の天上鰤、アンキモ、河豚の白子、鯵など、どれもしっかりと美味しく調理されていました。
握り寿司は
普通のおすし屋さんだと醤油を自分でつけて食べますが、こちらのお店では既に味がついているのでそのまま食べます。
大間産の生まぐろ、平目の昆布締め、九州○○産のウニなど。
※ちなみに「○○産」はこっそり教えてもらったので、敢えて伏せておきます。
とにかくどれを食べても最高に美味しいとしか言いようがありません。
店主はとても研究熱心で、良い素材の味をいかに引き出すかを考えているのでしょう。季節によって旬のものを探して自信を持って提供してくれます。
食べものに興味のある人はカウンタ席に座り、店主と話をしながら食事をすることをお奨めします。より一層興味が深まることでしょう。
