I've always wanted to go to this restaurant. I arrived in Kyoto early and gathered at the taxi stand at Kyoto Station at 9:40 in the morning. After about an hour's taxi ride, a charming restaurant appeared in the mountains. The quaint building and beautiful garden got me excited! On this day, we shared a spacious private room with eight people. We toasted with pomegranate juice. This juice was very delicious! We had champagne for the second half. ・Carp soup ・Hassun → Sushi with sweetfish roe, kinutamaki, red konnyaku, flower wasabi, roasted wild boar, kogoumi, and Tempura tempura ・Steamed wild eel in sake, with Japanese pepper soy sauce ・Carp, bamboo shoots, and roasted venison ・Moon (Asiatic black bear) and soft-shelled turtle soup ・Moon hotpot → In addition to bear meat, it also contains green onions, parsley, parsley root, watercress, and horse chestnut mochi. There were two hot pots, so I had wild yam rice porridge and udon noodles for the final course. I was impressed with the walnut Ice cream for the first time. Even people who don't like wild game can eat it. Bear meat with no strong flavor at all. In the photo, it looks like there is a lot of fat, but when you eat it, it is light and you can eat as much as you want. The celery was also delicious. I would have liked to have Ramen for the final course, but I lost the majority vote lol I don't like sticky things, so I didn't like wild yam after all. I wanted to eat Ramen with that broth! The situation of eating wild game in this location was also perfect, and I made a reservation for the summer sweetfish course and went home. I'm looking forward to the next time!
