I visited the store for the first time in a while. The last time I was there, it was during a festival in Fujinomiya, and the store was very noisy. In the past, the large banquet hall-like space was a perfect place for a large group of people to make noise, but the voices of those around them were so loud that the general public was reluctant to use it. This time, there were many four-person tables, making it more like a regular Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). First, I ordered draft beer, assorted sashimi, [Hana no Mai platter 1,290 yen excluding tax], but unfortunately the scallops didn't come in and they were out of stock, so I changed to today's five-piece platter [1,290 yen excluding tax]. After ordering about 10 different menu items, I finished off with mentaiko udon [490 yen excluding tax] and went home. The cream sauce, mentaiko, and chewy udon were all very impressive. It's quite spicy.
