ここ1週間位は湿度は高いものの気温は30度には達せず過ごしやすい日が続いている、今日は真岡の観光の中心にある長蓮寺のすぐ横にある栃木には珍しい干物専門食堂である。
ここは小田原直送の美味しい干物定食が10種類以上提供してくれるようである。
メニューは、干物だけでなく、焼鳥や唐揚げ等も有る、又、夜は美味しい干物を食べながらの飲み屋になる様である。
店は数件の食べ物やがある路地に在り店の前まで行かないと解らないが店内はテーブルとカウンター席がある、注文はホッケ定食（780円）と鶏のから揚げ定食（800円）とした、提供時間は意外にかかったが出て来たホッケは肉厚の物でいい具合に焼かれている、食べるとかなりフワッとしており薄塩でやはりスーパーで買って来て自宅で焼いたものとは違う気がする、毎日の様に干物を焼いていると言う腕の差であろう、又、御飯も竈で炊いたようなモッチリ・フワッとしており美味しい御飯である、この御飯で干物を入れたおにぎりを作り、海苔を巻いたら最高のものになりそうである、次にから揚げ定食である、大き目のから揚げが4個乗っておりかなりのボリュームである、先ずは一口噛んでみる、外から見た以上にカリカリと言うかパリパリと言うか、かなり特徴のある衣で中はかなり熱々のスープが閉じ込められており、噛むとかなりのあつさである、表現が一般的であるが今まで食べたことの無いから揚げである、干物屋さんで何でこの様なから揚げが出来るのか不思議である。
プロが焼いた多くのひもを食べられ、美味しいから揚げが食べられる隠れた食堂を発見した様である。
