自分基準ですが、銀座一丁目で銀座を象徴するカフェといえば、ここアンリ・シャルパンティエ。
名物はクレープ・シュゼットで、以前（たぶん7、8年前）地下も客室として使っていた時代に訪問、注文した際にはクレープ・シュゼットのためだけに作られた専用調理台をつかって、目の前で炎を立ち上らせながら作って頂いたのは印象的で、感動を味わいました。
コロナが蔓延した時期を経て規模を縮小したのか
今は地下は使っておらず、1階で20席くらいでの営業となっているようです。
カウンターの店員さん越しに、窓の外が眺められるボックス席に案内されました。待つことなく入れたのは幸運です。
私が10種類のフルーツのタルト、相方が葡萄のパフェを注文。そういえばもう一つの名物のナポレオンパイはまだ食べてなかったと思った時にはちょっと遅く、それはまた今度にします。
メニューには、地下が営業している時のもう一つの名物であったドーム•ノアールは今は無いのですね。球形のチョコを目の前で溶かしてくれ、中からスイーツ本体が現れるといすパフォーマンスは素敵でしたので少し寂しくもなりました。当時の写真を載せておきます（2017年11月の写真）。
建物自体が格調高いデザインで作られていて、入り口も荘厳さを感じさせます。内側も天井が高く、テーブルや椅子もセンスを感じさせます。
雰囲気の良い空間に、美味しく美しいスイーツ、丁寧な接客、すべて期待通りでした。ご馳走様でした。
