土曜の夜、日比谷の高みに位置する龍吟に訪れた体験を綴ります。
龍吟、その名の通り、店内に一歩足を踏み入れると、まるで龍が吟じるような雰囲気に包まれます。今宵は、長い時間をかけてスリムになった友人の誘いに応え、この特別な場所で日本の伝統的な料理を楽しむことになりました。
テーブルに着くと、目の前に広がる皇居の美しい景色が目に飛び込んできます。高層ビルが連なるその景色は、心を落ち着かせるものでした。店内には和装のスタッフがお出迎えし、席へ案内してくれました。
今宵は、山本流のシナリオに沿ったコース料理が提供されます。特に印象的だったのは、佛跳牆（フォーティャオチァン）にインスパイアされた山海珍味のお碗や、共水ウナギの地焼き、そして車海老の具足煮白味噌椀でした。特に車海老の料理は、脚の身まで丁寧に取り出され、その技量に感服しました。
料理の素材や調理法には、日本料理の伝統が感じられましたが、同時に斬新なアプローチも取り入れられており、新たな地平を模索する姿勢が感じられました。
料理だけでなく、店内のサービスも素晴らしく、スタッフの心遣いが随所に感じられました。料理が次々と運ばれてくる間、ゆったりとした時間が流れました。
