It was noon, so I took a stroll around Hibiya in search of lunch. What should I eat today? I'm planning on having Yakiniku (Grilled meat) tonight, so I'm thinking about Seafood as I walk. Before I knew it, I found myself at Restaurants area on the basement floor of the International Building. Although I had eaten almost all of Restaurants in Kunigiwa, I decided to visit Genki Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Kota, which I had never been to before. "Welcome. Please wait a moment while we clear your seats." I was guided to a table for two. ``I'd like the sesame-buri bomb bowl, please.'' ``Yes, I'm fine. Is the amount of rice okay?'' ``Ah, yes. I'd like the normal amount, please.'' Before entering the store, I selected it from the lunch menu at the store. I ordered a 1,000 yen lunch. Food will be served soon. Wow, the presentation is gorgeous and it certainly has the impact of a “bomb”. Rather than a bowl, the dish is placed on a deep plate that emphasizes the height, creating a sense of volume. ``This teapot contains dashi soup, so if you like, put the yellowtail rice bowl in the bowl and enjoy it as dashi chazuke.'' Yes, dashi chazuke is also good. First, let's have the yellowtail bowl. It's a fun bowl of rice topped with plenty of sesame seeds and seaweed. It is brightly colored with tobiko decorated here and there. Yeah, it's delicious. The yellowtail is made from a mixture of different parts of the abdomen and back, and has a variety of textures. The taste is perfect, probably because it's pickled. The top of the yellowtail bowl is topped with a half-sized boiled egg. Eat this in one bite. It's quite a large amount of rice. If this is a regular serving, how much would a large serving be? I'm too lazy to order large portions. I can't do it. Also try the dashi chazuke. Pour a small amount of the rice and yellowtail into a bowl and pour the soup stock over it. The surface of the yellowtail will turn slightly white in the hot soup stock. Yeah, this is delicious too.
