二部構成のショーを楽しみ、今日の陰の主役に挨拶に行った。初日前の通し稽古なのだったので、彼の人気は、引っ張り凧でなかなか話し掛けられずにいた。
ようやく話す機会が持て、この後どこかで飲みをしようと提案した。
結果、メンバーは10人となった。どんな面子になるか楽しみだ。
予め決めていた店はに連絡すると、10人は来て空いていないと何とも言えないとの返答だった。
仕方がないので、飛び込みで10人利用出来る居酒屋を探してみよう。
幸い駅から来る途中に、居酒屋が結構あったはずだ。
10人でも利用出来そうな居酒屋がすぐに見つかり、早速店内へゾロゾロと入った。
奥に仕切られれた半個室状態のテーブル席に案内され、それぞれ適当に席を決め座った。
初めましての方や、自分同様に招かれた仲間もいて、あらためて自己紹介をした。
中には舞台脚本家の若い女性、神戸から来た童話作家夫婦、編みぐるみアーティスト、フードライター、石油王、そして今日の主人公である舞台ミュージシャンと多彩なメンバーが揃った。
それぞれに、第一線で活躍するプロフェショナルである。
そんな中、ここに“自分”がいるのが、なんか場違いな感じがした。
ちょうどドリンクはハッピーアワーのに当っていて、手頃な値段で楽しめそうだ。
自分は“塩レモンサワー”を選び、先ずは…乾~杯！
メニューを取り、それぞれに好きな料理を注文していった。
注文した料理が届く前、飲物と同時に、黄色の大きな玉手箱のようなものが2つ提供された。
よく見ると、どうやらレモンをイメージしたようで、蓋を開けると中から見事な刺盛りが目に入った。
まるでお通しとは思えない、充実した内容だった。
注文した料理は次々と提供され、テーブルのスペースは一気に埋まった。
自分は軟骨揚げと、まぐろのかま焼きを注文していた。
大所帯で楽しむ酒宴は、最高のひとときだった。
仕事、生活環境、世代の違うもの同士、友人を中心に集まった。この時間だけは、みな旧知の友人だった。
今日のショーを思い返し、それぞれの思いを語り合った。
話が盛り上がり、アルコールがどんどん進んでいった。
一気に注文してテーブルに乗った料理は、徐々になくなり片付けられた。
どうやら、時間制のようだった。
まだまだ話したりないから、次の店に移動しようか…
