昨日に続いて銀座ナインでランチ。吉宗の茶碗蒸しを狙ったのですが、12時に着くと既に大行列。20食限定の夫婦蒸しには、ありつけそうにありません。方針を変更し、天ぷらの「板前料理そうかわ」へ。幸い行列はなく、すぐに入店できました。
最初はテーブル席だったのですが、運良くカウンターが空き、そちらに案内してくれました。
せっかくのカウンター席、しかもフライヤーの前の特等席ですから、てんぷら定食しかありません。
まずは定食がセットされたお盆が出て来ます。
ご飯とお新香。
たっぷりの油あげが入った豆腐と葱の味噌汁。
まずは、その味噌汁から。しみじみと旨い。
最初に海老天が出て来ます。
続いてゴボウのかき揚げ。
天つゆに大根おろしを入れて、頂きます。カウンター越しに供される揚げ立ての海老天は美味しいに決まっています。
ゴボウのかき揚げは、オン・ザ・ライスの天丼スタイルで。
ナスの天ぷらを挟んで、四品目は大きな穴子天。これはテンションが上がります。
さすがに一尾一気にとはいかないので、箸でひと口大に切って大根おろしも添えて、これも天丼スタイルで頂きます。穴子も大好物なので、即席穴子丼が嬉しい。
最後はタマネギ天と、海老天が二回目。
これも天つゆに潜らせて、オン・ザ・ライスで。ご飯が進みます。
落ちついた隠れ家的な雰囲気の静かなお店です。かなりご高齢のご主人ですが、天ぷらの腕は確か。銀座ランチがこれで1,400円は破格です。同僚女性たちも喜んでくれて「次回は天丼ですね」と、早くもリピートを楽しみにしています。
