Watanabe himself carefully selects the best ingredients of the day, mainly from Kyoto, and purchases them with his own discerning eye. 初めて伺いました。ご夫婦でやられている小さなお店ですが、愛情こもった料理がとてもとても美味しかったです。
季節の食材をふんだんに使うそうです。今の時期は鱧の時期とのことで、まさに鱧づくしの料理をいただきました。
メインの鱧のしゃぶしゃぶですが、もう絶品でした。その後の鱧の出汁がでた〆の麺まで最高に美味しかったです。途中に出てきた稚鮎の天ぷらも絶品でした。
また、ご夫婦とアシスタントのスタッフさんでやられているそうですが、皆さんとてもお人柄が良く、とても楽しく、気持ちよく、食べさせていただきました。
