東京駅から、八重洲通りの北側に平行している路地の中央通りに出る手前です。
この近所の会社のお客さんと2人で久々に飯でも食おうとゆうことになり、両者の思いは寿司で一致しこの店に来ました。
ここは数年前まではちょくちょく行ってた店で、職人の態度が横柄で人を見た接客をするが値段が安かった印象だったんですが、久しぶりに伺って大分雰囲気は変わっていました。
外観はまあどこにでもある街の寿司屋とゆう感じですが、店内は以前と比べ明るくて清潔感があって雰囲気は良くなってました。
入ってすぐ左に12席くらいのカウンターと、奥にも別に同じようなカウンター席があります。
その他テーブル席も幾つかあって、寿司屋としてはちょっと大き目の店です。
取り合えず生ビールで乾杯しますが、今回一緒に行ったお客さんがビールしか飲まなかったのですが、グラスビールのような小ささなのでお替りの回数が多くなり、値段に反映したかもしれません。
自分は、お通しでちょこっと出してくれた鰹の腹身の脂の乗り具合をみた瞬間にパブロフ犬の如く日本酒にチェンジです。
まずは刺身を盛り合わせてもらいましたが、鮪、カンパチ、北寄貝、ミル貝、イカ等盛り沢山ですが、店の雰囲気は変わっても、相変わらず素材の質に高級感が無く、そこそこは美味いのですが特別感が無いです。
その後は例によって、お好みで握ってもらって寿司をツマミに冷酒をひたすら繰り返します。
握りは小さめでツマミにするのに丁度良い感じで、ネタとシャリのバランスも良く、持った感じはしっかりしているのに中に空気が沢山入っている感じで、口に入れるとフワッと解ける様でとても上手な握り方でした。
サヨリの握りを頼むと皮を串に巻いて炙って出してくれたり、通常のボイルエビとは別に車エビの小ぶりのものを軽くボイルしたものを握ってくれたり、途中でゲソとホタテ貝柱に醤油をぬって炙ってくれたり、やることもちょっと気が利いてます。
接客態度も以前の様な横柄さは微塵も感じさせることなく良い感じでしたが、どうしても素材の質を考慮すると一人10,000円に近い金額では、ちょっとCPが悪い感じがしてしまいます。
ただし会計の後、生ビール１杯サービス券と次回用の飲食3割引き券を2枚くれました。
いやーまさか3割引き券を2枚もくれるなんて、なんて超太っ腹なお店でしょう。
赤字覚悟でしょうかねえ、まさか初めっからその分上乗せしているなんて訳は絶対にあり得ないですからやはりお客様のために赤字覚悟でやっているんでしょう、まちがいないです、素晴らしいです。
あまりに申し訳ないのでお返ししたいんですが、でも残念ながら鼻かんでゴミ箱に捨ててしまったので返すことが出来ません。ごめんなさい。
