2019年6月28日（金）昼食。
日本橋三丁目、中央通りの西側、八日通りのランチ。今日は寿司にした。12時10分前くらいに入るとまだ空いていた。カウンター席のいちばん端に座る。
入口前に「昼食サービス にぎり・ちらし 各800円」という札が出ていたが、800円はあまりにも安いので、1200～1300円くらいで食べられるセットがあればと思って入ったのだが、座るといきなりにぎりとちらしがありますがと言われて、にぎりでと答えた。ランチはほかの選択肢はないみたいだった。
ちなみに今ネットで検索していて知ったのだが、創業は慶応2年（1866年）、深川高橋の屋台の店として始まったとのこと。150年の歴史があることになる。東京駅の大丸にも店があるほか、すぐ近くにあるほうらい本店も同じ経営のようだ。
いか、赤身×2、白身（平目だろうか？ 違うような気がしたのだが）、えび、さけ、たこ、玉子、かっぱ巻き。しゃりはかなり多め。そして特徴的なのは、ねたが軽めなこと。ふんわりと軽やかな感じ。良いとか悪いとかではなく、面白かった。
お客さんはぽつぽつと入って来て、20～30代くらいの女性が1人、また1人と入って来て、カウンター席に座ってにぎりを頼んだりちらしを頼んだりしている。颯爽と。軽やかな感じ。僕がそのくらいの年齢だった頃に同年代の女性となかなかうまくいかなかった理由がわかった気がした（笑）。
