On this day, I visited Bistro "French cuisine" in Ningyocho. As I was walking around looking for a store, I found a round signboard. The duck and wine are drawn with dots, which is cute. When I entered the store, a slightly older man greeted me with a kind smile, and I was convinced that it was a wonderful store. The inside of the restaurant has the atmosphere of a Parisian Bistro, and the tables are spacious and comfortable. It was a bit noisy because there was a group of customers, but I was seated at the very back, so it didn't bother me too much. On this day, I had reserved a course that included one drink, so I decided to choose a drink first. We had sparkling wine. It's nice to see so much poured into the glass. First, a stick-shaped cake made with whitebait and cheese was served as an amuse-bouche. It melts in your mouth and has a nice salty taste. Since I had finished drinking all the sparkling wine, I had a decanter of Montagne Noir (France) Viognier from the house wine. As you explained, apricot is a delicious wine with a flower-like aroma. I'm glad that there are three types of house wine, red and white. The cold appetizer was an assortment of four dishes: octopus and mushroom ceviche, avocado, cured pâté, and Prosciutto. All of the dishes seemed to be carefully prepared and were very delicious. The bread that was served at the same time was piping hot, and when dipped in plenty of fragrant olive oil, it was so delicious that I ended up refilling it. Next was a hot appetizer of lotus root and bacon quiche and carrot potage. The crunchiness of the lotus roots brings out the flavor when you bite into them, making them delicious. The potage is also rich and you can fully enjoy the flavor of carrots. You can choose from 6 main dishes. I ordered ``Yamagata Pork Sautéed Basque Style (Tomato & Garlic, Publica),'' and my wife ordered ``Beef Cheek Braised in Red Wine.'' When I asked about the wine to go with it, they suggested white wine or Beaujolais, so I chose Beaujolais. It was delicious with plenty of fruit flavor and a soft yet firm impression. I may have never had a Beaujolais that wasn't Beaujolais Nouveau. The pork cuts easily with a knife, and the pork is juicy, and the garlic, onion, and paprika combine with the flavor of the meat to make it delicious. It went well with Beaujolais. I also received some beef cheek meat, and it was soft, rich, and delicious. It definitely goes well with red wine. That's all for the courses, but the food and drinks were so great that I asked for additional cheese and dessert. As an after-dinner drink, I had ``Marre de Bourgogne a la Mascot'' and my wife had ``Calvados Morin Ordage 15 Years''. Marle has a wonderful aroma, and you can enjoy the rich aroma that lingers in your mouth even after you take a sip. We received two types of cheese: ``Epoisses (washed cheese)'' and ``24-month aged mimolette.'' When Epoisses and Marle were combined, the aroma and taste were complex and a perfect match. It also came with sprigs of raisins and dried figs, so I was able to enjoy it slowly with alcohol. For dessert, I ordered "gateau chocolat." The rich gateau chocolate goes well with maru, and I'm happy that it comes with vanilla ice cream. After receiving all this, the bill was approximately 19,000 yen. I'm happy that it's reasonably priced. The food, wine, and service were excellent, and I would like to try a variety of other items a la carte next time. Thank you for the meal.
