Delicious monkfish soup found in Ningyocho!
I was addicted to the monkfish dobushiru in Arakicho and went there every year, but the restaurant closed down. I went on a trip to Tsukishima, Ginza, Kanda, etc. to search for dobushiru, but I couldn't find a restaurant that I thought was delicious for several years. I happened to search on Tabelog and found a dobushiru course at a sushi restaurant in Ningyocho that had been in business for three years. It was my first time eating out in two weeks and I tried it in the snow with a pounding heart. There was no space to cut the fish on the cutting board, so they cut it on the cutting board, but the liver, fried chicken, and tomato sauce were all refreshing and full of flavor, which made me very happy. I was excited to wait for the hot pot, and then the dobushiru with a wonderful aroma, the chef's style, was served... The vegetables and meat were all full of flavor, but not too heavy. It was rich, but not too heavy. The porridge was also excellent, of course... I made a reservation on the spot for a meeting with my dobushiru friends early next month. Thank you for the meal.

The rice used is Oda Hojo rice, specially grown with 100% organic fertilizer and reduced pesticides, and is delivered directly from the farm.
The owner goes to Toyosu every morning to carefully select the source of the seafood, and the sushi rice is made with Oda Hojo rice from Ibaraki Prefecture, known for being presented to the Imperial F |
I made a reservation for 6:30pm on a weekday, and this is my third time at Ningyocho Danzushi. At the table, we had red bean liver → fried monkfish → vinegared rice together, which was delicious and served with sake (the fried chicken was really delicious), and then we moved on to the main soup. We drank a variety of sake, including ones from Ibaraki, Yamamoto from Akita, Densake, Tedorigawa, and Natsuko no Monogatari. The monkfish meat and vegetables soaked in the delicious soup are truly delicious. The soup for the rice porridge is prepared separately, so you can enjoy the soup with the meat and vegetables without any worries. And then the rice porridge. It is no exaggeration to say that this is a hot pot for eating. I ate everything and finished it. It was a great night, I drank a lot of Japanese sake, I drank a lot of Chaser Akahoshi, and I laughed to death.
