Nagomiya Shibuya branch, located a few minutes walk from Shibuya Station, is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) where you can enjoy a relaxing meal in a completely private room. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm, and I sat on a sunken kotatsu table. The appetizer was duck loin, and the duck meat was tender and had a good flavor. The avocado and tomato salad had plenty of fresh avocado and tomatoes, and the dressing was refreshing and delicious. The kashira was well grilled, aromatic and juicy. The 5-piece sashimi platter was all fresh, and the salmon in particular was fatty and delicious. Cow tongue grilled beef tongue was thickly sliced and filling, and the squeeze of lemon made it even more delicious. The salmon yukhoe had a rich flavor with fresh salmon and egg yolk intertwined. The corn Tempura was sweet, juicy, and had a delicious crispy coating. The shiitake mushrooms and king king king mushrooms were meaty and filling, and the aroma of the charcoal grilling whetted the appetite. Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) were chewy and thick and very delicious. The rare cheesecake had a rich cheese and just the right amount of sourness, making it the perfect after-dinner dessert. All the dishes were plentiful and delicious. Ordering was easy as you could scan the QR code and use your smartphone. The staff was kind and the space was comfortable. This restaurant is recommended for those who want to enjoy a relaxing meal in a private room in Shibuya, or those who want to eat hearty Japanese-style meal.
