ビュッフェランチのヒマラヤ鍋のスープにハマる
久しぶりに訪ねた1978年創業のネパール料理店、お目当てはビュッフェランチ。
今日のビュッフェのラインナップは、以下の通り。
- ヒマラヤ鍋のスープ

まずは、区分けされたステンレス皿にひと通り盛り付け、ステンレス製の保温マグカップに、熱々のヒマラヤ鍋のスープを注ぐ。
ヒマラヤ鍋のスープは、丸鶏、ヒマラヤ岩塩、ハーブ類の旨味が凝縮されており、超絶美味しい。このスープのためだけにこのビュッフェを食べに来たくなるほど。これをいくらでも飲めるというだけでパラダイス。
チェーフィングに入って並んでいるカレーや炒めものは、いずれも隙がなく、平打ち麺の焼きそばもいい感じ。いずれ劣らぬ美味しさで、2セット目にまた食べたくなるものばかり。
頭の中で、今日は3セットくらい行きたいなと思い描きつつ、2セット目はサラダを除いてすべてお替わり。ヒマラヤ鍋スープもマグカップにザバザバ注ぐ。
恵比寿という土地柄か、入店した12時半の時点ではガラガラ。1/3弱ほどしか埋まっていなかった席が、その後ドシドシお客が詰めかけて、あっという間に満席に。
ほぼ全員がビュッフェランチを頼んでガシガシ取るため、物凄い勢いで料理が減っていくのだが、補充の体制は完璧で、間髪入れずに出来立てが足されていく。
虜になったヒマラヤ鍋スープをガブガブ飲んで、バタープーリをムシャムシャ食べたせいか、2セットでお腹パンパン。3セット食べるという野望は、儚く消え去る。
パツパツのお腹を抱えて、食後にラッシーをゴクゴク飲みながら寛げば、充実のランチタイム。
ちなみに、クンビラを出てから、向かいの筑紫樓の脇道を通ったところ、大きな排気ダクトがあるため、周辺に漂う匂いは、日本の町のそれではなく、まんま香港だった。

ビュッフェのラインナップは、前回と全く同じ。同じ金曜日だからなのだろうか？
とにかく今日は、ヒマラヤ鍋のスープ狙いなので、熱々のスープをステンレス製保温マグカップにたっぷり注ぐ。そして、ひと通り料理やバタープーリなどをステンレス皿に盛る。
まずはヒマラヤ鍋のスープ。丸鶏、ヒマラヤ岩塩、ハーブ類の旨味が凝縮されていて、やはり超絶旨い。
当然スープはもう一杯お替わり、虜となったスープをガブガブ飲んで、充実のランチタイム。
