休日夜、恵比寿の魚のほねへ。
まず、場所が非常にわかりづらいので要注意。ビルの正面玄関サイドではなく、人通りの少ない裏路地に入り口がある。しかも、看板がひっそりとしていて目立たないので、一見すると入り口とは思えない。重い扉を開くと、薄暗い階段が３階まで伸びている。
３階に到達すると、わずか、10席程度のこじんまりとしたオシャレな空間が広がる。ここに店員が一人。
この日は、私を含めて客は４人のみ。客単価を上げて、落ち着いた空間にしているようだ。
なお、メニューはなく、基本的には、店主おまかせのコースのみ。お値段は料理のみで１～１．５万円。ドリンク入れると２万円近くになるので要注意。
私はビールのみ飲んだが、店内のワインセラーの中には、白赤ワインがずらりと並ぶ。ワインに和食風の魚料理を合わせるのがこの店のウリらしい。
この日は、うに、マコガレイ、あゆ、サバ、ステーキ、ショウガ粥というラインナップ。
旬な魚に、ブラックペッパーをたっぷり使った肉を合わせるという贅沢仕様。
いずれもレベルは高いが、これでこのお値段はやや過剰か。
皿や酒にこだわったトータルコーディネート料の部分が十分に上乗せされているのだろう。
店主とセンスが合う人にとっては満足感は高いだろうが、客の好みに応じて、もう少し自由度があってもよいのではないか。
