新宿の靖国通り沿いに3年前にオープンした寿司屋へ。
個室を予約したところ通されたのは隣接する居酒屋の個室席と思われるエリア。
他の席から若い声がやや声が響くところが少々気になる。
まずはお通し。
おそらく今シーズン最後となるであろう鱧。
先付けは可もなく不可もなく無難な出来栄え。
お造り盛り合せ
ここから本領発揮らしく先付とのギャップに衝撃。
これは握りが楽しみとなる。
鰤の照り焼きで小休止。
握り
白身はコチとクエ。
小肌の締め具合も良く、どれもバランスが取れているお味。
カウンターで1貫ずつ頂きたかった。
優しい味わいのズワイ茶碗蒸し
握り2週目は、イクラ、雲丹、穴子にトロタクと玉子。
最後は抹茶のパンナコッタで〆。
ビールから始まり富士山、宮城渓、そしてお勧め日本酒から作を頂く。
帰りにカウンターを覗いたら空いていたので次回はカウンターで楽しみたい。
