I visited around 7 p.m. on a weekday in February 2024. About a 2-3 minute walk from Shinjuku Nishiguchi Station, Seafood House Eni is a restaurant that specializes in shrimp and crab dishes. There are two customers in the store, which is not very large. The two of us sit at a table and read the menu carefully. First of all, toast with "The Premium Malts (raw)" ¥715 to quench your thirst. Premol with a mellow scent that makes you happy. Orange Soft Shell Crab ¥ 630: A dish with plenty of carrot rapé-like carrots on top of fried soft-shell crabs. A mysterious dish where you can enjoy moderate acidity, sweetness, and umami. I enjoyed the compatibility of carrots and soft-shell crabs, and it was a pretty delicious snack. Mugen Jako Bell Pepper ¥450: A dish that sprinkles grated cheese on a snack-like dish of Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) to give it a unique feel. It's a pity that the texture of the peppers wasn't crispy, but the taste is good. A good pinch of salt. Special Eni Combo ¥4,800: "Special Eni Combo" with sautéed lobster and crab in garlic butter with lemon. If you peel off the shelled lobster and eat it, you can enjoy the texture and umami firmly. The crab is fried frozen, so I have the impression that the meat is thinner than I expected. The shrimp and crab had a wild taste, but I felt that the price was a little high. I switched from beer to white wine "Old Coach Lord Riesling Seyfried Estate" ¥4,620 and enjoyed it. The refreshing and slightly sweet wine and garlic butter sauté are not a bad match. Taste with a squeeze of lemon Wild Seafood dish tastes like no other. Sea urchin and squid cream Ajillo ¥800: Cream with chopped green onions Ajillo does not have a very strong sea urchin flavor. It's easy to eat, but lacks punch. "baguette is served with ¥280, but it tastes good with the addition of chopped seaweed. "Seafood House Eni" offers shrimp and crab dishes that you wouldn't eat at home. You can eat Seafood with gusto at a reasonable price. I felt that the selection of sake was good, so it didn't seem to be bad to use. A store that I would like to use again if I have the opportunity.
