It was a small shop located about 5 minutes down an alley from the main street of Nishi-Shinjuku Gochome Station. Since it was a celebratory occasion, I made a reservation for the Kagoshima Black Beef shabu shabu Shabu Meat Set. First, let's toast with draft beer, then move on to sake. It's a cup sake, but it's fun to be able to choose local sake from various regions from the refrigerator. We shared Black Beef, Shinomine, Choyo Fuku Musume, and Chochin. The three dishes that come first are boiled pork cartilage, boiled Oyster, and sweet potato. All of them are delicious, but the flavor is strong and makes you want to eat rice. The marbled meat finally appears, and when you dip it in a pot of bonito and kelp soup, it's so tender you won't even need your teeth. Due to its low melting point, the fat in the meat was melting. Accompanying meat include Chinese cabbage, mizuna, green onions, bean sprouts, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, and arrowroot. When I was pretty full, I started eating pot-fried rice...the rice itself was delicious, but I was a little sad about the accompaniment. How delicious it would have been if we could have had the appetizer as a side dish... The udon noodles were even more disappointing, and we finished off with Ice cream. It seems that there is a course of fugu and crab, so it was a recommended restaurant for a luxurious meal.
